Special Care Unit

The Special Care Unit is a substance use program that uses a client-centered, strengths-based approach to programming.

For almost 20 years, Wesley’s Special Care Unit has operated the only transitional residential program in the Hamilton region, for individuals experiencing chronic homelessness, substance use and mental health concerns. By providing a safe, supportive place to stabilize, individuals can access various client-centred and personalized treatment options which contributes to their long-term success.
