Wesley’s Settlement Services offer dedicated support to newly arrived Ukrainians in Hamilton and surrounding communities, helping them adapt to life in Canada and build a strong foundation for successful integration.
Our services assist clients in navigating key systems such as education, healthcare, housing, and community services. We also provide employment-related support, including information and referrals to skills training, language services, and job readiness programs available through our partners.
A special focus is placed on supporting Ukrainian seniors to reduce isolation and promote social inclusion, ensuring they are connected to resources and networks that help them thrive in their new environment.
The Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET) support program officially concluded in March 2025. However, recognizing the continued needs of some clients, Wesley will provide ongoing, client-centered support through our Client Support Services (CSS) program.
Under our current mandate, Wesley is the sole provider of case management services for all newcomers in the Hamilton and Brantford regions, offering intensive, personalized settlement support to ensure long-term success and full participation in Canadian society.
