Service Updates:

Extended Hours: Beasley, Queen and Riverdale EarlyON Centres will have extended hours. Starting September 11, Beasley and Queen EarlyON Centres will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on the second and fourth Friday of each month, while Riverdale EarlyON Centre (closed on Fri Sept 11) will be open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Friday of each month.

Churchill Park EarlyON Centre: Until further notice, programs offered at our Churchill Park EarlyON Centre will continue to operate from our 1900 Main St. W. location.

Queen Street EarlyON Centre: Until further notice, all programs at our Queen Street EarlyON Centre will continue to operate from the gymnasium.

Riverdale EarlyON Centre Temporary Relocation: September 14–25, 2026: The Riverdale EarlyON Centre will temporarily relocate to Stoney Creek Recreation Centre, 45 King St W, while flooring is replaced at the Riverdale Centre. The centre will be closed Friday, September 11 for the move and Monday, September 28 to move back. Regular Monday and Wednesday morning swim times will also take place at the Stoney Creek Recreation Centre pool during this period.

Wesley’s EarlyON Child and Family Centres are innovative hubs for early learning and family-centered support, serving children up to 6 years old, along with their families and caregivers.

Operating across five locations in Hamilton, these centres provide safe and welcoming environments accessible to all families with young children. Multilingual Registered Early Childhood Educators facilitate play and inquiry-based programs, while workshops, personal connections, and resources are available to support parents and caregivers.

EarlyON Centres are open to all families in Ontario. They’re welcoming places that offer a range of services and resources where you can:

  • Join fun activities such as reading, storytelling, sing-alongs and games
  • Get advice from professionals trained in early childhood development
  • Find out about other family services in your community
  • Connect with other families with young children
