A male youth worker and male client sit on the edge of a graffiti-covered skate park; the worker wears a red shirt and gestures while talking, and the youth wears glasses and a black backpack, listening attentively.

The Provincial Youth Outreach Worker (PYOW) Program engages disconnected and at-risk youth aged 12 to 21 through meaningful relationships and community connections. Our mobile workers support youth and their families in navigating services, accessing resources, and improving long-term outcomes.

By building trust and understanding, PYOW helps young people identify and articulate their needs while connecting them to vital supports. The program focuses on priority communities and distinct priority populations, addressing barriers that may prevent youth from accessing opportunities for personal growth, healthy decision-making, and goal achievement.

Through collaboration with individuals, organizations, and community systems, PYOW empowers youth to create a brighter future.
