We wanted to share important news about an interim location for the Wesley Day Centre. As you all know, there have been many attempts made over the past year to secure both a short term and long term home for the Day Centre. We have faced a variety of challenges including available affordable rental space in areas of the City that best support our participants. Given this, we have made the decision to locate the Day Centre at 52 Catharine Street North, on an interim basis only, while we work on a longer term solution.

Starting on October 19th and running until October 25th, Day Centre services will be offered between 195 Ferguson and 52 Catharine as part of a transition plan. Starting on October 26th and running until a permanent location is secured, full Day Centre services will be operating out of 52 Catharine on the first floor. Day Centre participants will access the program from Rebecca Street and there will be space available for the health clinic. In terms of washrooms and showers, these will be provided outside using a trailer similar to those used for movie sets.
