Ukrainian refugee speaks on settling in Hamilton

Wesley has helped Sukharyev and over 800 other Ukrainians who fled the Russian invasion to life in Hamilton. Sukharyev’s primary goal is to lay the foundation for a stable future for his family in Canada. While grateful for the help, he’s determined to make it on his own. His wife is taking English courses, and his kids started school a few weeks ago. Although it’s been difficult for Sukharyev to accept that his old life has come to an end, he’s excited about the new possibilities that await his family here in Canada.
