Hoarding Support Program (Halton)

In partnership with community agencies, Wesley has developed a program using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and follow-up supports to address harmful hoarding behaviors that are negatively affecting an individuals’ living environment, quality of life and potentially their tenancy and health.
Buried in Treasures Support Group
The Buried in Treasures Support Group is a 15-week hybrid program (delivered either in-person and online) designed for individuals struggling with hoarding behaviors. This evidence-based group provides a structured, supportive environment for participants to understand and address the challenges of clutter, gain practical tools for change, and build a supportive community.

Eligibility
Eligibility in the programs includes the following:
- Halton Resident
- Low-income households
- Pre-existing case management OR some pre-existing community supports

- Emergency Services (Fire, Police, EMS)
- Community Agencies (CMHA, CAS, Healthcare Services etc.)
