From Homeless to Housed

Meet Shawn. Our staff found him in a homeless encampment here in Hamilton. He was hungry, sick and suffering from addiction. But you could see the hope in his eyes.

With your help, we’ve supported him through his mental health and addiction struggles. He’s progressing well now and is thrilled to be settled into a safe home with his brother. They take pride in keeping it clean. They’re grateful to live close to a grocery store and our supportive staff.

Shawn is thankful for all of Wesley’s support. He’s determined to become a social worker and wants to give back to his community.
