A Heartfelt Thank You Note

At Wesley yesterday, super smart six-year-old Ifat Nasiri presented Filomena Tassi, MP Hamilton West – Ancaster–Dundas, with their artwork saying, “Thank you for Supporting Afghan Refugees.” The family arrived in Canada ten days ago. Both parents have university degrees in science, and the kids learned English from watching cartoons. They told Minister Tassi, Councillor McMeekin, and Wesley CEO Rashed Afif that they were glad to be in Canada.
